Knights Scewer Mudhens and Take Series

After losing a pitcher's duel 3-4 the night prior, the Knights once again hosted the St. Paul Mudhens Monday night at White Bear Township fields. Chris Trobec got the start in the decisive game 3.

The game would start out as another pitcher's duel with both the Knights and Mudhens having scoring chances early but failing to capitalize. Thankfully, the bats would come alive in the 5th and the flood gates would open in the 6th. Congrats to Chris Trobec and Danny Thering, who came in relief, on pitching a fantastic combined game. Thering would pick up the win, while both would be completely in control the entire game. The Knights offense scored 30 runs in the 23 innings played in the series. Hopefully the bats stay alive for round 2 against the Tri-City Shark.
