On a beautiful day the Knights took the field and had a beautiful come-from-behind win in extra innings. It was the Knight's second extra inning win of the year (they beat East Bethel in 11 innings on a bases clearing double). With the win they move to 3-2 in league play after dropping two straight games.

Today's victory was a hard fought one. FanHQ struck first with two early runs but the heart of the Knights order responded with 3 runs. FanHQ would take the lead again in the 6th inning, but once again the heart of the order responded to tie the game and eventually win the game in the 8th inning.

Many guys played in positions they normally don't play in and stepped it up for their team. TJ Mayer, who may be one of the best defensive center fielders in the state, took over Shortstop duty for the day and showed off his strong arm and had an overall great game. Sam Claeson, one of the team's starting shortstops, showed his versatility and athleticism by putting on the catcher's gear and by going 8 innings behind the plate. Nate Klecker stepped up by DHing in the game and was a big part of today's victory by sizzling a line-drive in the second inning for an RBI and eventually scoring the game winning run in the 8th.

Frank Matteson gave the team their third victory in league play also giving the team their third complete game on the season. Matteson moves to 2-0 on the season.

Next game is Monday vs the Savage Outlaws at White Bear Township.
